During a trip to Vietnam, our founder struck up a friendship with our now leather artisan Duc. Fascinated and impressed with his ability to produce beautiful leather items, they both decided to work together. Next, we scoured the world to find great looking, ethical and environmentally friendly leather. Where did we find it? Japan – a country known for excellent craftsmanship and detailed work. Then came hard work on producing samples and rigorously testing them. Finally, we were able to produce the backpacks we wanted.
