Welcome to our third Patina Tuesday post. This time we're looking at our Sang Black leather, ethically made of course! For our previous Patina Tuesday post on our Pititi Peach leather click here and for the Mutsu Tan post here.
On the left we have a Anh Sang Black bag that is almost two years old, used in a variety of hot, cold, humid and dry conditions. On the right is a brand new Mainichi Sang Black bag in comparison.
We can see that there hasn't been much change in colour in almost two years. It has gotten a little lighter and developed a little sheen. Generally speaking this is to be expected with our Sang Black leather.
What is noticeable however is that compared to our Mutsu Tan and Pititi Peach leathers, the Sang Black shows the rough and tumble of use more proudly. Little patterns in the leather from repeated use are more prominent. This might appeal to people who like a more rugged aesthetic.
As with all our other leathers, the Sang Black has softened over time and is really nice to touch.
