Welcome to our first Patina Tuesday post where we're going to be looking at our Pititi Peach veg tanned leather.
We have one of our bigger Anh bags that's had 1 year and 9 months of hard use (but still looking pristine) and a brand new Mainichi bag. The Anh bag has been used in many different conditions - hot, sunny and humid temperatures in South America, snowy, ice cold (-20 celsius) climates such as Canada, and more moderate climates.

We can see how the Pititi Peach has developed a beautiful patina over the almost two years of use. The colour of the leather is now darker, richer and deeper with different textures and tones.
Here's a close up:

We can see clearer in the below pic the different tones that the Pititi has developed.

In addition to the patina, the leather has become buttery soft and lovely to handle. The new Mainichi bag still has a little stiffness in comparison which should become softer as it's used.

Even on the bag itself there is contrasting patina. The outside of the shoulder strap has been exposed to the elements and handled often which the back of the backpack hasn't. We can see the shoulder strap has developed an even darker patina than the front of the bag with a beautiful aging texture.
Every single one of our bags will patina and age as uniquely as our customers are unique. They will tell a story of the bag and the owner and the journey they've been on.
